This weather forecasting application offers comprehensive meteorological data, including large temperature displays, wind chill, humidity levels, wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, moon phases, and additional values that cater to users seeking detailed weather information.
With this tool, users can engage interactively with weather patterns, supported by a four-day forecast and supplementary features. The app provides real-time weather data for user-entered locations, requiring only the city name for location determination and displaying the station or town name accordingly.
The application categorizes weather conditions into eight scenarios: clouds, sunshine, rain, mist, snow, frost, among others. It displays temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, along with wind chill metrics. Humidity is presented as a percentage, complemented by wind force visualized through a multi-step wind sock indicator and a compass for wind direction.
Additionally, it features an animated barometer displaying air pressure with visual elements such as balloons and rotators. Moon phases are accurately depicted in real-time. The app timestamp’s each data input with date and time labels for clarity.
Users can simulate eight different weather scenarios, including wind effects and air pressure variations. Data retrieval is optimized for minimal internet usage, requiring only a few bytes of data transfer.
Configuration options include selecting up to six different cities with test and GPS functionality. Temperature units can be toggled between Celsius and Fahrenheit; barometric readings are adaptable to various units including millibars, hectopascals, Torr, psi, or inches of mercury. Wind speed measurements can be customized to kph, mph, knots, meters per second, or Beaufort scale.
Additional features encompass manual data updates via a dedicated button, ensuring continuous operation without auto-shutdown when the app is active. A forecast range from four to seven days provides trend analyses and extended outlooks. The app also integrates German Weather Podcast videos streamed directly within the interface for enhanced informational content.
Enhanced weather modeling includes animated snowfall during winter conditions and the display of dew point temperature. The application offers city-specific information through a built-in wiki feature and provides ice forecasts pertinent to windshield safety. Barometric pressure history logs the last six readings for trend analysis.
Instead of relying solely on your device’s location service, users must manually enter their city in the settings. The app is optimized for various Apple devices including iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone 4 through 8 models, ensuring a seamless experience across platforms. It is designed as a universal application compatible across multiple devices without compromising functionality or display quality.
